The 5 uses of math in this lineless piece are the golden ratio, symmetry, perspective, geometric shapes, and organic shapes.

Golden Ratio - I used the golden ratio when creating the horns. I thought of horns coinciding
with the golden ratio and that’s how I came up with the idea of drawing a goat for this project.
Then I just winged it from there. You can see this in the first progress picture.

Symmetry - I made a line directly in the center of my canvas so that I would make all but the
background symmetrical. You can see this in the progress picture(s).

Perspective - I tried to create a bit of perspective with the ears. I transformed them to seem as
though they were going back behind the goat’s head which is why you can see more of the
shadow of the inner ear than the outside. You can see this in the second progress picture.

Geometric Shapes - I used geometric shapes for the background of the piece. The entire
background is different colored squares and rectangles that I thought would contrast the
abstract, organic shapes on the goat.

Organic Shapes - The goat is colored with organic shapes to show an abstract way of
highlighting and coloring. These shapes are also symmetrical.
